Oxygen Level (SpO2)* The oxygen level in the arterial blood measured by pulse oximetry. SpO2 can be altered by changes in lung function, environment (for example, altitude), and changes in heart function or oxygen use by the body.
Pulse Rate (PR) The number of pulses per minute, which changes with physical fitness or exertion. The pulse results from mechanical contraction of the heart and can often be felt by placing fingertips on the wrist.
Respiration Rate from the Pleth (RRp® ) The respiratory rate measured by the pulse oximeter through detection of blood volume changes caused by breathing.
